Vesna

After learning about the unique Thindown duck down fabric, we knew we wanted to make this vest. The duck down is processed into fabric thanks to the sustainable Sorona® fiber, which is made from renewable organic raw materials. The fabric contains 37% renewable plant-based material. We used it to fill this quilted vest. Its outer material is the well-known water-repellent recycled fabric we use to make our EBBY and SAIMA jackets. The Vesna vest is another sophisticated functional piece that was created entirely in our workshop.

It has a bomber collar, deeper armholes, and elastic panels on the sides. The rounded edges create a nice slit effect on the sides. It has a metal zipper that fastens well thanks to the sewn-in flap and protection under the chin. The vest will work great over sweaters and sweatshirts, but also as a warming layer under wool coats in winter. It will also look great when worn over dresses or shirts. We sew it in three sizes: XS/S, M/L, and XL.

Recycled PET

Recycled polyester is a special material made from recycled sources such as PET bottles, polyester waste or even older clothes. During production, the raw materials are cleaned, ground and melted, thus creating a material with the same properties as pure polyester - strength, crease resistance, easy maintenance and high durability. Approximately 90% less water and 70% less energy is used for production than for the production of conventional polyester. The carbon footprint of production is also 75% lower than conventional polyester and even 50% lower than organic cotton.
