Wool is a luxurious natural fiber. It contains lanolin, which provides natural protection. Woolen garments therefore don’t need to be washed as often as those made from other materials. It’s enough to store them properly, air them out frequently, and a quick pass with a steamer iron works well to refresh them.

If you do decide to wash wool, soak it in lukewarm water with a drop of wool-specific laundry gel. Do not distort the garment in any way after washing it this way.
