The tailor's workshop where everything is made

The tailor's workshop where everything is made

In 2020, we set up our own workshop – and we're lucky enough to have tailors with a lifetime of experience working there. We know well that design and material selection are just the beginning; the actual cut and precise execution are also important.

In our Brno workshop, the first samples are created, which we wear, test and improve ourselves. We are detail-oriented and we are not afraid of difficult constructions or complex cuts – for example, women's trousers, shirts or coats.

Thanks to our own workshop, we can afford to create more demanding models and provide tailoring for our customers.

Materials, materials and materials again...

Materials, materials and materials again...

All our pieces start with materials. We take great care in selecting it and always use the highest quality.
Over time, the three main sources we draw from have crystallized:

Custom knitted knitwear

We have basic bamboo knitwear and organic cotton knitwear knitted and dyed to order in a traditional Czech knitting mill. Together we have gradually developed the ideal weight, knitting density and choice of raw material. Finally, we also determine the specific shade we want to dye the knitted fabric. It is a longer process, but the local cooperation is definitely worth it.

Deadstock – Italian leftover fabrics

Another large group is made up of deadstock, i.e. residual fabrics produced in Italy in the highest possible quality. Italians traditionally excel in the production of luxury wools, coats, poplins and other materials. These fabrics are used mainly for trousers, shirts and coats. We enjoy working with leftover material and giving it a new life. Wool fabrics also teach us about the incredible variability of wool – it's not just warm and wintery. With different finishes, wool clothing can be worn all year round, you just have to make the right choice.

Substances from a European supplier

The third source is fabrics from a European supplier that certifies all its materials to the OEKO-TEX 100 standard. This means they are produced ethically, environmentally and sustainably – both for people and nature. Thanks to this cooperation, we have the finest linen, embroidered madeiras, smooth poplins and many other materials at our disposal.

An important part of our offer is also a knitted collection of wool sweaters. We have entrusted their production to an experienced knitter and his team. In cooperation with a technologist, we jointly develop patterns, knitting structures and carefully select 100% wool yarns. Our sweaters are made right in Brno, in a workshop with a long tradition.

We use certified merino yarns with RWS marking and knit each model in a limited number of pieces. We believe that the quality can be recognized not only at first glance, but also at the first touch.
