About this piece
Livy is our merino vest. Knitted with a beautiful pearl stitch, which makes the vest fluffy. It has a slightly ballooned cut with dropped shoulders, wider armholes, and ribbed cuffs. It will complement shirts, bamboo turtlenecks, and flowing or shirt dresses perfectly. Thanks to the knitting technique, it is very stretchy. This year's version of the vest is enriched with two slits on the sides, making it versatile for dresses and pants.
The entire vest is made without waste and is knitted in a small local knitting mill from Merino Extra Fine and Cashwool certified yarn.
The dimensions listed in the table are in an unclothed and unstretched state.
The girls in the photos are 175 cm tall and are wearing size M/L. It also looks great as a looser fit.
Which size will fit you?
Enter your body measurements in centimetres. We will compare them with the measurements of this cut. We assume you will wear a T-shirt, shirt or light turtleneck underneath. The fabric is very stretchy, we take that into account.
How to measure yourself
Bust: tape measure horizontally around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist: at the narrowest point, usually just above the navel.
Hips: around the fullest part of your bottom, feet together.
Height: without shoes. We use it to estimate the length of the trouser legs.
Saved measurements help others too: when you rate your purchase later, we use them anonymously to recommend sizes to customers with a similar figure. Nobody else will see your name or your measurements.

Material info
Merino extra fine
Merino Extra Fine yarn is woven from fine fibers of 100% merino wool, obtained from free-range sheep. Merino Extra Fine is soft and pleasant in contact with the skin. The yarn we use meets Oeko-Tex certificates and RWS certification.

Making a YP sweater
The bobbins of wool are threaded into the machine's guides. To a layman, a nuclear power plant control room, an Airbus cockpit and a knitting machine are equally baffling.
The knitting machine produces an almost finished piece, but some parts such as the neckline and armholes have to be trimmed by hand.
Merino is a very expensive material, so working with it takes a precise hand, a lot of experience and steady nerves. Measure twice, cut once.
And now the sewing! In this case on a machine similar to the one we use in our workshop for dresses and t-shirts.

Knitwear Collection Made in Brno
Wool is a luxurious natural fiber. It contains lanolin, which provides natural protection. Woolen garments therefore don’t need to be washed as often as those made from other materials. It’s enough to store them properly, air them out frequently, and a quick pass with a steamer iron works well to refresh them.
Wool deserves this care. You’ll be rewarded with its durability, excellent performance, breathability, and natural temperature regulation.
If you do decide to wash wool, soak it in lukewarm water with a drop of wool-specific laundry gel. Do not distort the garment in any way after washing it this way. Simply use a towel to squeeze out the excess water and let it dry flat. A clothes drying rack works well, as it ensures airflow even from the underside.
