This beauty is Gwen. A sweater knitted from a blend of alpaca and merino wool. It is completely undyed, so the fiber retains its natural color without the use of any chemicals. It has thick ribbing, a round neckline, and shaped sleeves, which create a beautiful detail thanks to the ribbing. Its cut is modest and will go well with shirts, T-shirts, or sweaters. The straight bottom hem invites you to tuck it into waistband pants, and it will look great worn over dresses and shirts with the bottom hem peeking out. These sweaters were created as the icing on the cake of this year's knitwear collection in a very limited quantity. We knit them in universal double sizes XS/S and M/L and XL+. The woven striped version is also made from an undyed blend of alpaca and merino wool and creates a beautiful effect that highlights the knitting pattern. Knitted locally in our partner knitting factory in Brno.

Výroba YP svetru

Vše začíná tady. Vysázet vzor v programu. Je to krutej pixelart :)

Disketou se program přenese na japonský pletací stroj. Krásný kousek z let devadesátých.

Špulky s Merino vlnou v kvalitě Superfine. Nebo-li líp už to nejde!

Cívky s vlnou se založí na stroj do připravených vodičů. Velín jaderné elektrárny, kokpit airbusu a pletací stroj jsou pro laika podobně nepochopitelné.

A jde se na to!

Po upletení se musí každý díl napařit

Aby vlákna změkla a lépe držela tvar

Narovnat, zkontrolovat zda je vše jak má být, a svetr se už začíná klubat.

Z pletacího stroje sice vypadne téměř hotový díl svetru, ale některé části jako průkrčník a průramek je třeba dostříhnout v ruce.

Merino je velmi drahý materiál, takže práce s ním vyžaduje přesnou ruku, velké zkušenosti a pevné nervy..Prostě dvakrát měř, jednou stříhej.

A jde se šít! V tomto případě na podobném stroji jako používáme v naší dílně na šaty a trička.

Co má tahle mašina společného se slivovicí?

Řetízkuje! S řetízkující slivovicou se na Moravě se ctí popere kde kdo, ale s řetízkovacím strojem jen zkušené ruce. Majitel dílny si povzdechne, že školy nejsou a zájem o ruční práci upadá.
